Shang discovered his love for writing ads when he attended a copywriting class at Nanyang Technological University in 2012. Since then, he’s had stints at full-service agencies such as DDB, BBDO, and now, Ogilvy. Over the decade, he’s worked across multiple mediums for a wide range of local and global brands, including Changi Airport Group, Diary Farm Group, Lexus, AIA, the National Museum of Singapore, Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth, Tiger Beer, Guinness, Mercedes-Benz, McDonald’s, Unilever and more. While at it, he’s been lucky to pick up several local and international awards. Outside of advertising, Shang enjoys a kickabout with friends and making wonky ceramic wares—just so he gets some exercise for his all four limbs.
